It’s that time of year again. It’s time to start planning your White Horse Christmas! We’ve got plenty of fantastic events coming up over the festive period!
We will be open for drinks Christmas Day, so pop down with the family whilst your dinner is cooking!
On Boxing Day, we will be ready to serve both food and drink…if you hate those left over turkey sandwiches we will have a fantastic menu available, this day is always very busy, so book your table sooner rather than later!

Monday 2nd December – Charity Christmas Music Quiz
Matthew is back with Sue to present this year’s “Charity Christmas Music Quiz.” All proceeds go towards “The Hales and Loddon Community Sports Hub” £1 per person to enter. The quiz starts at 7:30pm, don’t forget to book your team a table. Always a great fun night
Friday 6th December – Comedy night
Danny Ward returns to the White Horse amongst a star-studdedcast with Kai Barron hosting another fabulous evening of laughter with ‘Shaft of Wit’. Make sure to book your tickets at shaftofwit.com or in advance at the bar.
Monday 9th December – Christmas Bingo Extravaganza
Not much to say about our Christmas Bingo, the night always sellsout. Eyes down look in at 7.30pm. Last year prizes totalled well over £1,000 in value. This is a ticket only event and they will be on sale from the beginning of November. Put the date in your diary now!
Sunday 15th December – Christmas Carol Service
This is the day the church comes to the pub. This idea was first dreamt up many years ago very late one Sunday night. It brings the pub and church community together and is a great night for the family. The service will start sometime after 6.30pm, please be here early to get a seat and a drink.
Monday 16th December – Charity Christmas Quiz
Sue Edwards is back to host our monthly charity quiz. Starting at 7:30pm it’s a great opportunity to get your friends together and scrub up on your knowledge! It’s only £1 per person to enter and all proceeds go towards “The Hales and Loddon Community Sports Hub”.
Saturday 21st December – Band Night with ‘TRUESCAPE’
The band you love are back! TrueScape are here to entertain! You’ve broken up from work, Christmas is just around the corner so where else is there to be? Come and celebrate the start of the festive season with us and dance your way into Christmas…
Wednesday 25th December – Christmas Day
“The White Horse” will be open today 11am till 2pm, so pop down for a drink while the sprouts are cooking. The fire will be alight. See you all then.
Thursday 26th December – Boxing Day
Rid yourselves of cabin fever and get back to “The Horse” for a bite to eat. Whether you’re making the most of your time with the family, or desperately trying to avoid them, we are here to help.
Saturday 28th December – “The MOD One”
Martin Sisley returns to “The Horse” with his guitar in hand to entertain you through the afternoon, as you snuggle into some well-deserved pub time with friends. 3pm onwards.
Tuesday 31st December – New Year’s Eve
Your last chance to dine with us on a New Years Eve at “The White Horse” under our current ownership as our 16 year era comes to an end. Special menu coming soon. Happy new year, good health to all.
