Start off your bank holiday weekend here at ‘The Horse’ with Truescape. You loved them last time, so this fun-loving band is back, playing a range of styles from funk to rock.
We’re very proud to be hosting the Loddon Street Fayre this year, with the fabulous Funky Feet School of Dance and Performing Arts opening the festivities from midday. There’s something for all the family to enjoy throughout the afternoon, with the bouncy castle open from 11am, BBQ and roasts served from midday, and Misterfied Childrens Entertainer Norwich keeping the kids amused from 1pm. Come along and support this local event.
Kerry Fisher has worked tirelessly for The White Horse Chedgrave for the last five years. She has made many friends – staff and customers alike, so come and say goodbye. Kerry will be the right side of the bar for a change!
Quiz mistress, Sue Edwards, will be in the chair for our monthly quiz, start time 8pm, entry £1 per person. Complimentary nibbles for all.
Stephen Treadaway returns for an evening of mediumship. Enjoy a three-course meal around two sessions by Stephen, 6.30pm arrival to dine at 7pm.
Another opportunity to get those dancing shoes out and boogie the night away, 9pm till Midnight, all welcome.
Our Apprentice Chef Tamara Spooner began working with us in October and will soon complete her NVQ Level 2 in professional cookery. Tonight, Tamara will showcase her talent with a menu she has designed and prepared.
At least once a year we hold “Teddy Bear Picnic” themed family days… come on down on Monday 2nd May. We’ll have bouncy castles, a kid’s disco area, entertainment for the children, story time, races, music, games and lots and lots of food and drink available. These really are great days for the whole family and we love organising them for our community!

In April 2015, we presented a narration and selection of songs from the musical Les Misérables alongside a menu of fine French cuisine.
