Throughout July –Bowling Season

The bowls season is underway, with games aplenty throughout the month. Come down, enjoy a drink and some foodwhile supporting the team from the beautifully crafted viewing platform! Follow us on Facebook atChedgrave Bowls Club for more information on fixtures.

Fishing Breakfasts

It’s the start of the fishing season and we will be open for an early breakfast on this Sunday and then on every Saturday until late September. Breakfasts served between 7am until 8.30am. Booked tables available at other times please call us on 01508 520250

Monday 15th July – Gav and Karen’s Charity Music Quiz Night

Gavin is back and with Sue away Karen is filling the breach, together hosting tonight’s quiz. All proceeds go towards “The Hales and Loddon Community Sports Hub” £1 per person to enter. The quiz starts at 7:30pm, don’t forget to book your team a table.

Monday 22nd July – The Water Rats Jazz Band

Tonight’s the night when we get our annual infestation of the famous Water Rats! Music and entertainment throughout the evening from this unique band of musicians as they tour the Norfolk Broads this summer! A night for your calendar not to be missed! From 6:30pm.

Thursday 25th July – Steak Night

Steak night is back already with a fantastic offer you won’t find anywhere else in the village. With sirloin steaks at just £19.00 and rump steaks for only £14.00 what more could you ask for? I know, how about we discount our house wine to £17 a bottle.

Monday 29th July – Holt-Ridge Morris Dancers

Another lovely evening of entertainment this time with the Holt–Ridge Morris Dancers showing us their traditional attire and merriment to brighten our summer evening. Barbecue for all with burgers and hotdogs for everyone. 6.30 onwards.

Friday 2nd August – Comedy Night

We’re hosting another comedy night so get ready for a night of laughs with an incredible lineup to be confirmed. Book your tickets now at shaftofwit.com or in advance at the bar.

Monday 5th August – Charity Quiz Night

Sue Edwards is back hosting another quiz event for us all. All proceeds go towards “The Hales and Loddon Community Sports Hub” £1 per person to enter. The quiz starts at 7:30pm. Book now!

We’ve had some fantastic nights here at The White Horse and have got many, many more in the pipeline! Once a month we have regular events including; Live comedy, quiz nights, psychic suppers and steak night. Every year the chefs prepare a special menu for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Our staff are always happy to go the extra mile to help you celebrate, nothing is ever too much trouble. Please keep an eye out for these signature menus so you can book your table and treat the special people in your life. They deserve it.

Biennially we hold our Last Afternoon of The Proms event.

This event is a ticket only event. It’s always best to be ahead of the game and book your tickets nice and early, so make sure you keep an eye out for when they go on sale as it’s always a sell out!

Playing in our beautiful beer garden we welcome ‘The East Coast Sinfonietta Orchestra’ while you sit back, relax and enjoy either afternoon tea, Or arrive ahead of the concert for a three course, fine dining experience!

 

 

Biennially we also hold our FREE fireworks display.

For this event we don’t ask you to book, you can just turn up and enjoy the spectacular display, all we ask to show your support is to purchase a drink from the bar and/or a bite to eat from our BBQ.
