Monday 4^th December – Charity Christmas Music Quiz

Matthew and Sue present this year’s Christmas music quiz! Starting at 7:30pm and only £1 per person to enter and all proceeds go to support people with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in memory of Alice Whittaker. Don’t forget to book a table!

 Tuesday 5^th December – Psychic Supper with “Jamie Brown” – VIEW MENU

Our Christmas Psychic Supper is a bit special. Enjoy a warm glass of mulled wine or a chilled glass of prosecco when you arrive, before sitting down for a three-course festive meal around two sessions of mediumship by the Clairvoyant Extraordinaire Jamie Brown all this for just £35.00.

Sunday 10^th December – Christmas Carol Service

This is the day we bring “The Church” to “The Pub” with a Christmas carol service lead by Reverend Alison. The service will start around 6.30pm so make sure you arrive at the pub nice and early to get a good seat! Complimentary sausage rolls and mince pies after the service, please bring the family along.

Monday 11^th December – Christmas Bingo

Not much to say about our Christmas bingo, the night sells itself! Eyes down, look in at 7.30pm! Prizes galore at our massive bingo night, brilliant fun for all. This is a TICKET ONLY event, £10 in advance to exchange for your bingo books on the night.

Monday 18^th December – Charity Christmas Quiz

Sue Edwards is back to host our monthly charity quiz. Starting at 7:30pm its great opportunity to get your friends together and scrub up on your knowledge! It’s only £1 per person to enter and all proceeds go to support people with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in memory of Alice Whittaker. Tables must be booked – 01508 520 250 – Complimentary mince pies and sausage rolls.

Friday 22^nd December – Band Night with ‘TRUESCAPE’  

The band you love are back! TrueScape are here to entertain you this Eve of Christmas Eve! You’ve broken up from work, Christmas is only a couple of days away so where else is there to be? Come and celebrate the start of the festive season with us and dance your way into Christmas…

Monday 25^th December – Christmas Day

“The White Horse” will be open today 11am till 2pm, so pop down for a merry drink while the Christmas dinner is cooking.

Tuesday 26^th December – Boxing Day

Rid yourselves of cabin fever and get back to “The Horse” for a bite to eat. Whether you’re making the most of your time with the family, or desperately trying to avoid them, we are here to help.

Saturday 30^th December – “The Mod ONE”

Martin Sisley returns with his guitar to entertain you throughout the afternoon from 2.30pm. What better way to spend an afternoon? Book in for lunch before or dinner after and make a day of it with friends.

Sunday 31^st December – New Year’s Eve

Wine and dine at “The White Horse” tonight and then join us for the bells! Special menu coming soon. Happy new year good health to all.

We’ve had some fantastic nights here at The White Horse and have got many, many more in the pipeline! Once a month we have regular events including; Live comedy, quiz nights, psychic suppers and steak night. Every year the chefs prepare a special menu for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Our staff are always happy to go the extra mile to help you celebrate, nothing is ever too much trouble. Please keep an eye out for these signature menus so you can book your table and treat the special people in your life. They deserve it.

Biennially we hold our Last Afternoon of The Proms event.

This event is a ticket only event. It’s always best to be ahead of the game and book your tickets nice and early, so make sure you keep an eye out for when they go on sale as it’s always a sell out!

Playing in our beautiful beer garden we welcome ‘The East Coast Sinfonietta Orchestra’ while you sit back, relax and enjoy either afternoon tea, Or arrive ahead of the concert for a three course, fine dining experience!

Biennially we also hold our FREE fireworks display.

For this event we don’t ask you to book, you can just turn up and enjoy the spectacular display, all we ask to show your support is to purchase a drink from the bar and/or a bite to eat from our BBQ.
