Tuesday 31st December – New Year’s Eve

Your last chance to dine with us on a New Years Eve at “The White Horse” under our current ownership as our 16 year era comes to an end. Special menu coming soon. Happy new year, good health to all.

Monday 6th January – Charity Quiz Night

Our quiz mistress Sue Edwards is back to host another quiz evening for you so make sure you’ve scrubbed up on your general knowledge.

Wednesday 8th January – Fish and chips £12.50

Flippin’ Fish and Chip-tastic! We have a great new offer to help shake off the January blues for this evening. Our delicious cod fillet and home-cut chips served with mushy peas for just £12.50

Thursday 16th January – Steak Night

Steak night is back already with a fantastic offer you won’t find anywhere else in the village. With sirloin steaks at just £19.00 and rump steaks for only £14.00 what more could you ask for?

Friday 17th January – Comedy Night – The Dirty Dozen

Kai Barron returns with ‘Shaft of Wit’. This month “The Master Shaftsman” brings us the return of the “The Dirty Dozen”. Fast paced rootin’ tootin’ live comedy shootout.

Thursday 23rd January – Burns Night

This is the night the pub goes Scottish in honour of the Landlady. Delicious three-course meal of wonderful Scottish Fayre created by our talented kitchen team.

Sunday 26th January – Opening from Midday until 5pm

This is the night we treat our staff to a night out after a year of hard work its well earnt.

Wednesday 29th January – Pie Night £12.50

Simon Askew, has hit the ground running here at “The White Horse” and we have had nothing but brilliant feedback about his 360-degrees encased pies.

Friday 31st January – Live music with – “Midlife Mayhem”

A big welcome to Darrell and the band as they play their first gig at “The Horse” music from 8.30pm

We’ve had some fantastic nights here at The White Horse and have got many, many more in the pipeline! Once a month we have regular events including; Live comedy, quiz nights, psychic suppers and steak night. Every year the chefs prepare a special menu for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Our staff are always happy to go the extra mile to help you celebrate, nothing is ever too much trouble. Please keep an eye out for these signature menus so you can book your table and treat the special people in your life. They deserve it.

Biennially we hold our Last Afternoon of The Proms event.

This event is a ticket only event. It’s always best to be ahead of the game and book your tickets nice and early, so make sure you keep an eye out for when they go on sale as it’s always a sell out!

Playing in our beautiful beer garden we welcome ‘The East Coast Sinfonietta Orchestra’ while you sit back, relax and enjoy either afternoon tea, Or arrive ahead of the concert for a three course, fine dining experience!

Biennially we also hold our FREE fireworks display.

For this event we don’t ask you to book, you can just turn up and enjoy the spectacular display, all we ask to show your support is to purchase a drink from the bar and/or a bite to eat from our BBQ.
